before we talk $, how do i know we’ll be a good fit?

This whole investment/money thing is important, but it can also hold a lot of stressful tension with it. I get it. You’re trying to be responsible with your money but you also want to have gorgeous documentation of these moments you can pull out years from now. I freak out over any purchase, and when I hired a wedding photographer, it was no different. Honestly, I chose my wedding photographer because I knew her in college and I already knew I was comfortable with her.

As part of the booking process, I offer a virtual complimentary chat where we can get to know each other.

I do not want you to be uncomfortable in front of the camera I want you to know as much about me as possible so that when it comes to your session, we can just hang out and enjoy the moment together. If you’re looking for that rigid “picture perfect” moment in a high stress environment, this is NOT the session for you. Friend, take that pressure off of yourself and let me take care of you!

I’ll help you every step of the way from planning your look, talking through where your family will adventure for the day, and answering those last minute freak outs over text. (We’ve all been there!)

At your session, we’re going to do life and be real together in a fun, relaxed, and low pressure environment.

We’ll play games, tell stories, have tickle fights, get a case of the giggles (or two!), and so much more. Let me worry about stray hairs, necklaces getting turned around, and all those other worries. This is your opportunity to be with your people. Your session is more than just being in front of a camera, it’s an experience that you and your family can share together.

This beloved package preserves a myriad of memories for you. You’ll receive a ton of gorgeous images you’ll love and can preserve your lasting legacy for generations. We’ll get a few poses and smiles for the camera as well as a ton of interaction between you + your people (or you + me for the seniors + portrait sessions.)

  • 1-2 hours (Usually closer to 1 hour with littles!)

Checked out all the galleries and decided you’re in? YAY! Now it’s time to let me know so we can start chatting about all the dreams, hopes + desires. Tell me who’s going to be in the session + what you’re hoping to do with these preserved memories afterward. - book, wall, Christmas cards, etc. When you reach out on the contact page, be as thorough as possible on what you’ve already though about. If you have no idea - no sweat - let me know! I’ve got some dream locations + ideas that may match something you’d love.

Each session is specifically tailored to your needs, desires and what you want to remember about this season of your life. Before ever signing a contract, we’re going to meet face to face over video chat to make sure we’re a match and get you any lingering unanswered questions off your list. If we don’t vibe during this time or if we discover that your vision is something I can’t help you bring to life, we’ll part ways. (Let’s get real. Video chats are awkward enough so if there’s good vibes there, we’re basically golden!)

Dreaming up your session together.

This is our chance to take your vision and fully dream up your session. What makes you come alive? Is it a few hours building sandcastles and splashing around at the beach with your people? Is it lounging around the house in your pajamas eating pancakes on a lazy Saturday morning? We’ll go over all the options either IRL or over a video chat + we’ll discuss how we can make your session come to life. I’ll be there every step of the way to encourage you, cheer you on, answer questions + help make your dreams happen.
